1970 Founders Pavilion formally opened October 10th
1971 Full capacity. 120 residents living at Founders Pavilion. First annual residents' bazaar.
1972 "Agnes" flood caused 2.5 million dollars damage to Founders Pavilion / Coming Hospital complex.
1973 Kitchen area added in the activities room. Dental office equipped.
1974 Van donated to Founders Pavilion to provide transportation for the residents.
1975 Resident Advisory Council started. First employee recognition dinner held.
1976 East End Patio enclosed and screened in. Skilled Nursing Facility Committee formed.
1977 Edwin H. Ober Funds were established to receive donations. The Funds were established by the late Edwin H. Ober, M. D., the first Medical Director of Founders Pavilion.
1978 The employees of Founders Pavilion/Corning Hospital formed an Employee Service Association to raise funds for the benefit of patients and employees.
1979 A dental x-ray machine was added to the Dental Office. The Corning Rotary Club donated this portable unit.
1980 Hugh and Evelyn Keenan Endowment Fund was established by Dr. and Mrs. Hugh A. T. Keenan. Founders Pavilion was purchased by the Corning Hospital Corporation and the building was dedicated in memory of Geraldine Swarthout Rowley for her generous contribution.
1981 12" aluminum letters were added to the First Street entrance proudly identifying Founders Pavilion.
1982 Grounds landscaped with funds donated by the Resident Advisory Council.
1983 West End Patio enclosed - proceeds from L. P. G. A. Bather unit purchased - monies from Inservice Volunteers.
1984 Piano purchased for lounge/dining room by Resident Advisory Council.
1985 Rollaway bed donated for use by families who wish to stay with loved one during time of crisis - purchased by Resident Advisory Council.
1986 Computerization of medical records.
1987 Purchase of Eldorado Transport Van.
1988 Capital campaign held to obtain funds to install climate control throughout the facility
1992 Chimney explosion forces evacuation of Facility.
1993 Alert Link Emergency response service initiated.
1997 Founders Pavilion created a Medical Model for Adult Day Health Care Service.
1998 Founders Pavilion began accepting admissions for Short Term Rehabilitation Service.
2003 Founders Pavilion, Inc. now operates Founders Pavilion Skilled Nursing Facility which is a charitable not for profit organization.
