A speech language pathologist works closely with the residents' physicians, nursing & dietary staff helping people recover from stroke, dementia, swallowing problems, as well as, other debilitating conditions. These treatments can include dysphasia therapy, cognitive therapy, receptive/expressive language therapy & communication systems.
